Verity was founded by three brokers who had spent their careers inside the traditional business brokerage industry — and who were tired of watching good deals die at the closing table because of financing nobody had bothered to pre-arrange. We started Verity to do it right.

Nick Brunelle brings more than 15 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, and deal execution. He has led high-performing teams, managed multi-state revenue portfolios, and worked with entrepreneurs and business owners on transactions ranging from small business exits to larger middle-market opportunities. Nick’s strength is helping owners position their business clearly, communicate value to buyers, and create momentum throughout the sale process. His background in sales, acquisitions, and investor relations allows him to guide clients through negotiations with a practical, results-focused approach.

Devin Craig brings more than 15 years of leadership, operating, investing, and advisory experience to Verity Brokers. Devin works with business owners to prepare for a successful transition, identify qualified buyers, and navigate the sale process with clarity and integrity. His background in operations, leadership development, and acquisition strategy helps owners think beyond valuation alone and focus on the full picture: people, process, culture, and outcome.

Erik Trefzger

Erik Trefzger is an entrepreneur, investor, and Washington Real Estate Managing Broker, who splits his time between Tennessee and Washington. For more than 20 years, he has built, operated, and sold businesses, giving him firsthand insight into what owners need when preparing for a sale. As Verity Brokers’ real estate expert, Erik brings added perspective to transactions involving commercial real estate, owner-occupied properties, investment assets, and business sales where real estate is a major part of the deal. His approach is practical and owner-focused: protect confidentiality, attract serious buyers, structure the deal properly, and maximize the value of what the owner has built.
